Responsibilities:

• To provide support to the class teacher in daily activities.

• To supervise and instruct students and small groups in and outside the classroom.

• To manage children’s behavior and relate well to children.

• To follow the instructions of the class teacher.

• To manage the classroom in the absence of the class teacher.

• To support the teaching of physical education (PE) in particular, girls’ swimming.

Additional:

• Support and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of the school.

• Support and contribute to the school’s responsibility for safeguarding students.

• Maintain high personal professional standards of attendance, punctuality, appearance,

• conduct and positive relations with students, parents and staff and other stakeholders.

• Comply with any reasonable request from a class teacher to undertake work of a

• similar level that is not specified in the job description.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in relevant field or additional certification in child education or in the relevant field is a plus

• Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English & Nepali

• Experience in the related field is preferred.

• Attention to details and proactiveness

• Ability to gracefully accept feedback

• Basic computer knowledge with ability to carryout general administrative tasks such as photocopying, laminating etc. to support the class teacher.

Hours of Work:

• Monday – Friday 7:45am to 3:30 pm

• attend weekly meetings as required after 3:30 pm.
