welcome kisc alumni!

Former students and staff are invited (and encouraged!) to be a part of this group. As each of you know, KISC is a unique community made up of students and staff from Nepal and other countries around the world. It’s a diverse place where people find a special sense of community and belonging. Our goal as the KISC Alumni Group is to foster this sense of belonging and connection for people well beyond their time at KISC!

One way we’re aiming to do this is through regular updates in a KISC Alumni Newsletter. You can sign up to stay up-to-date with the latest KISC news and hear inspiring stories about our alumni.

Stay connected

We’d also appreciate it if you can share this information with any of your friends who you think may be interested in joining!

We look forward to staying in touch with you and we hope that you know, wherever life leads, there will always be a home for you at KISC!

Friends reunite!

Three friends reuniting after many years illustrates the international nature of KISC Alumni. Gemma, Tete, and Alyssa were together at KISC in the early 2000s and met up again in April 2024 in Seoul, S. Korea. Gemma from the UK now lives in Seoul, Tete from India now lives in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Alyssa traveled from Winnepeg, Canada for the reunion.

If you have pictures or stories from any reunions with your old KISC friends please let us know alumni@kisc.edu.np

Nepali Reunion in Minnesota, USA

In September, a group of former KISC staff and students gathered for a mini-reunion in Minnesota! Khim and Srijana Kandel (and their two children) recently moved to the United States, so it was the perfect opportunity to get together. Other former KISC staff at the gathering included Binod and Rachel Gaire, Chris and Leslie Smith, Simon and Wendy Hall, and Hailey Brenden. It was a great time of food, fellowship, and reminiscing about life at KISC and in Nepal.
