Absence Procedure – Primary
Attendance will be taken at 8:00am upon
arrival into the classroom.
If you know in advance that your
child will be absent (e.g. dental appointment, home leave, a conference)
please send a written note of explanation to your child’s teacher.
If your child is unexpectedly absent
you must phone the school between 7:45am and 8:00am so we know not to
expect your child.
A register will be sent, immediately after
the entry bell, to the Principals’ Assistant who will contact the home
of any child absent without prior notice. This is for the safety of
your child.
PE lessons – if your child cannot
do PE for any reason please send a written note of explanation,
otherwise, unless a student is obviously ill, they will be expected to
participate.
